International Day of Charity

5 September 2021

With the United Nation's objective to eradicate poverty of all forms by 2030, the importance of charity work is once again highlighted.

Poverty is still a major pandemic impacting several international communities, acting as a 'significant threat to sustainable development.' In line with working towards this agenda, reflection on how to meet this goal is necessary. There are many vulnerable groups of people that various charities are aiming to protect and sustain. Through charity donations, education, and providing resources charities are able to assist in the sustainable development of these groups of people.

What more can we do to support charities?

We can all play a part in making this objective come to fruition. Through fundraising, volunteering, donating resources, and time, we can all contribute to this 2030 Agenda set by the United Nation.

Getting involved with a charity is easy, but eradicating poverty by 2030 is going to take some work.

Join in the effort today by reaching out to a local charity like us.

You can get involved with our mission for sustainable development and the wider goal of eradicating poverty by emailing us at info@gracesustainsafrica.org

We also understand that not everyone will be able to support a charity at this time, so, you can also help us by sharing this blog with your friends and family.
