Partnering with Clever Minds Educational Foundation, we have committed to supporting the development and improvement of the quality of life for underprivileged children in Nigeria. Our Fundraising Campaign – Building CleverMinds is an opportunity for donations to provide 250 orphaned children in Warri, Nigeria with education and a safe place to develop.
In Nigeria, though primary education is compulsory and free, roughly 10.5 million children aged 5-14 are not enrolled in school. As well as this, the majority of the children not enrolled in school are girls. This is because of socio-cultural norms, religious practices, and economic struggles impacting their attendance. What’s more, orphans in Nigeria not only lack the financial support to enrol into school but also the care and protection needed to stay in formal education. Through Clever Minds, that can all change.
Join us in raising £3000 by the 29th of August, to support the building of a school in Warri, Nigeria for the 250 orphaned children who need a safe place to learn and grow. With your support, we will be able to provide resources such as textbooks, uniforms, desks, and chairs for young children as well as giving new opportunities to children without families.
Education is a basic human right and should be treated as such. Every child deserves a chance.
